Founding Shimna was activism in itself. From the early days of the founder students, who were very well aware of their own role as pioneers, activism has been a dynamic element in the life of the school. Activism takes many forms and reflects the diversity of beliefs, commitments and politics among the Shimna community. Activism filtered pro-actively down the Shimna generations.
